| | Celestino: " This bronze medal means much to me, after the silver from last year. Two bikers before me were really good. This was the aim of this season and I got close to the golden medal. I want to thank so very much to all Italian. It was great emotion to pedal along this trace and hear the ovation. I am not going on vacation right now. The season is still open and it's a long one. There are another important races, on the national level, such as Dolomiti Superbike and others- international ones". |

| km 106 | M - On the ascent nr 16 Coconalet Sausser is out of reach and flies towards success. He is followed by Kulhavy at 49". Then Celestino is trying to leave behind the German Bohme. There are only 9 km left to the finishing point. |
| | W - The surprising final. Luethl who dominated for the bigger part of the challenge, left the command to Sabine Spitz who has the advantage over Brandau (at 2"), Suss (at 4"), Langvad (at 5") Undstedt (at 24").

| km 90 | Attention! Between the ascents of Cime delle Panziere and La Militare, before the single track nr 6, Caste of 1800 m, there starts the attack of Swiss Sausser with Kulham in troubles.
Their advantage is growing. |

| km 86 | M - At the measuring point of the English cemetery di di Giavera del Montellothere is just one couple leading! Sausser and Kulham lead with 26" over Absalon, then at 59" Bohme and at 1'14" Mirco Celestino is figthing for the podium place. Meanwhile the leaving world champion, Lakata (Aut), is with 3'29" of delay. |
| km 84 | M - the return to Montello is the most selective and feared trace. Actually, the front faces the single track nr 8 and nr 7 Paradiso of 1100 m as well as Bufo Bufo of 1400 m

| | W - At km 40, the women reenter the Right Piave with the advantage of the Swiss Ariane Luethi. At 1'02" there are Dahle, Suss, Bigham, Brandau, Spitz, Klemencic andLangvad.

| km 80 | M - On the ascent of Baracca there are only in three to lead. |
| km 76 | M - When passing again the Piave, the quartet of Absalon, Sausser, Bohome and Kulham has 32" over the trio of Alvarez Gutierrez, Celestino and Leisling. Juest one minute behind there is pedalling the quartet of Kass, De Bertolis, Ilias and Bishop, followed by Mennen.

| km 65 | M - Celestino makes the forcing and Ilias loses contact with his immediate followers. |
| km 60 | M - Further reduction of the leading group during the ascent of Val del Lovo and Col Sandago; another single track, nr 10 , Camoi of 1900 meters. There are four bikers leading: Absalon, Sausser, Bohme and Kulham. With one minute of delay, there is a group of Celestino, Gutierrez and Greek Ilias. |
| km 50 | M- During the difficult trace of the Left Piave, the front platoon is getting reduced, when close to Anconeta ascent, between Barbisano and Colle di Guarda. |
| | W - During the passage of the Piave river, after 39 km, it is always Luethl (Svi) to cross it as first and she is followed by the group of 14 units with 3'27" of delay. She doubles her advantage this way. |
| | W - At km 32 , Point 6 there continues the solitary action of Luethi (Svi). At 1'12" there is a group of 14 units guided by Dahle (Nor) followed by Suss, Spitz, Sundstedt, Klemencic, Langavd, Brandau, Sulcova, Mata, Nussli, Bigham, Sollner, Gaessler amd Veronesi, At 1'46" Benzon, at 1'18" Calvetti. |
CLASSICAL MARATHON | Meanwhile, the marathon and classical of Gf del Montello-Gunn-Rita Mrathon have their first winners. For classical, there won Gabriele Della Dora (Grana Padano) in 2h11'40" over Taufer (Miane Bike Team) at 24" and Illi (Performance Pedali di Marca) at 1'40". For marathon the victory went to Federico Birtele (Team Bussola) in 3h19'09". |
| km 45 | M - The front group is close to the castle of Collalto and there are three Gpm to face: Colle della Tombola, Anconeta and Costalunga on the left side of Piave and then the single track nr 11, the Collato of 800 meters. |
| | W - At km 30 there is only one alone athlete on command. The Swiss Ariane Luethi has about thirty seconds of advantage overt the quartet formed by Dahle (nor), Suss (Svi), Sundstedt (Fin)and Klemencic (Slo). Another trio composed of Spitz (Ger), Langvad (Den) and Bigham (Gbr). and then, alone, follow Mata (usa), Nussli (Gbr) and Sollner (Ger). |
| km 40 | What a fantastic view: the Italian blue bikers are leading the spectacular artificial passing over the Piave river.

| km 39 | M - At Nervesa , just few meters from the spectacular Piave river, there are still about thirty of bikers on command, with the front composed of Cattaneo (Ita), Celestino (ita), Deho (ita), Lakata (Aut), Medvedev (Rus), Moos (Svi) and Felderer (ita). |
| km 34 | M - No changes along the single track number 12 of the Colesel delle Zorle at 700 m. |
| km 30 | M - The front of the race is still compacted at S.Angeli, at Point 7, on the asphalt road. |
| km 25 | M - At the passage of the ascent of Arditi there are still about forty bikers in the leading group. Among first ones: Kass (Ger), Looser (Svi), Deho (Ita), Leisling (Ger), Medvedev (Rus), Kugler (Svi), Kulhavy (cze) , Sauser (Svi) and others, together with Absalon, Celestino, Zoli, De Bertolis, Dietsch, Lakata, Huber. |
| | W - At km 7 there are always 23 on command, with Bigham (Gbr), Brandau (Ger) and Sundstedt (Fin) leading. |
| km 21 | M - The group of the best ones is always compacted on the long dirt path, with Kass (ger), Medvedev (Rus), Looser (Svi), Sauser (Svi), Vastaranta (Fin), Absalon (Fra), Kugler (Svi)and e Leisling (Ger) on first positions. |
| km 18 | At Ciano del Montello, on the asphalt path, Sauser follows Celestino on the first positions, in order to find the dirt path which leads to the 2nd Gpm on the ascent of Arditi. |
| | W - There starts the asphalt section: 23 bikers on command with Suss still dictating the rhytm when goinog up to the Point 19. |
| km 17 | M - On the Stradon del Bosco there is always Italy leading, with the ex champion Cattaneo in front dictating the rhytm over Celestino. |
| | W - There starts the ascent also for the girls, with Suss (Svi) leading before Calvetti (Ita) and Bigham (Gbr). |
| km 13 | M - The male race has faced the third part of the single track of Gioiosa of 4 km of two stars, but there is nobody to take the initiative. |

| km 10,8 | The head of male group faces the 2nd single track of 110 m called Victory of stars. |
| | Meanwhile, at the finishing point there starts the preparation of women. The first to enter is Italian Michela Benzoni. She is followed by Brandau (Ger), Nussli (Gbr), Dahle (Nor), Spitz (Ger) and the favourite championess Suss (Svi).

| km 8 | On the asphalt of S.Maria delle Vittorie, Bishop (USA) leads over Tiberi (Ita) and there is the race for the best position in order to start the adventure on the dirt road: first of 16 parts of single tracks of 1600 m of the hippodrome. |

| | The protagonists of the challenge are warming up when waiting for the call. At 10 o'clock there will start the challenge of 109 professionals that will face 115,7 km (the ascent of 2800 m with 5 Gpm). Meanwhile there are 38 women will have to cover 98,3 km (the ascent of 2290 m with 3 Gpm). |

| | While waiting for the champion challenges, there have akready started the marathon and classic races connected to the Montello-Gunn-Rita Marathon with almost 3 thousands bikers engaged. Right with this event, already of ten years old, there started the adventure of Pedali di Marca and of Massimo Panhe who culminates this world championship of the "greasy wheels" . It closes the wonderfull triptych which saw at Montebelluna the Italian championship (2009) and the European one (2010). |
